Perthvilles Weightlifter, encouraged by several glasses of fine ale taken at the Barton arms, has started a weightlifting competition out the front of the hotel.

He has been challenging anyone he can to lift his weights but is refusing to actually let go of them so anyone can try.

Not surprisingly, he is winning the competition.
