A Portrait of the Artist as a Ripped Young Man
If you’re going to criticise a piece of artwork, first check that the artist is nowhere near you.
Our well-intentioned Art Critics made the fatal faux pas this morning when the Street Artist overheard their appraisal of his work.
Commissioned to paint a nearby water tower, he was well within earshot, and hastened to confront his critics.
“That’s a representation of me,” the angry young man cried.
Fingers crossed he is not nabbed for attempted murder before he can complete his next assignment: beautifying a tower in the industrial zone.
He may not actually have the muscles he attributes to himself in his self-portrait, but the Street Artist is now wrestling with the critics over their review.
