You’re Swedish? All Right Everyone, Coffee Break!
IT guys were flown in today from Sweden to install firewalls at Perthville’s mine site in order to keep out hackers.
Why Swedish? Because of their superior Swedish skills? No.
One word: FIKA.
Fika (noun), meaning “coffee break”
Fika (verb), meaning “and now we’ll break for coffee”
“You didn’t really graduate with degrees in info tech, did you?” the site manager of the mine wistfully asked the pair.
The IT Professionals waxed honest. “Ja, no. Both of us majored in fika.“
