The Tavern Owner’s building plans have been interrupted again and again, first by the Great War of the Gods and then by the mystical prophecy of a storm. The Tavern Owner has had enough of it and wants to get her own back on the gods who have caused this and shattered her dreams. She learns that while all the other gods are clubbing together to try and protect their secret, Juno has ventured alone to the farm to rescue a Vestal Priestess that she left up a tree but whose help she now needs. The Tavern Owner rallies the mortal beauties in the farm area to ensnare Juno using her own reflection against her. Juno is so vain that when each of the mortals brings out her mirror, she is mesmerised by her own infinitely repeating reflection and can’t move.
This is a great strategy to get the tavern finally established in Avonville. With the mirrors in a circle she could be mesmaised into infinity until it is completed with mirror glass on its frontage to distract her opposition!
Perhaps the musician Carlius Simonus could be employed at the Tavern. Her very popular music will entice villagers, but fend off Juno by playing her hit song “You ‘re so vain”
